Combined First Aid at Work & Paediatric First Aid
Combining the Level 3 Award in First Aid at Work (RQF) and the Level 3 Award in Paediatric First Aid (RQF) into 3 extended days of classroom learning, this specially designed course provides the skills and knowledge needed to provide both adult and paediatric first aid, whilst minimising the number of training days required to achieve both qualifications.
Intended Audience
Streamlined perfectly to avoid the duplication of topics associated with attending both the First Aid at Work and Paediatric First Aid courses separately, the HSE Combined First Aid at Work and Paediatric First Aid course has been specifically designed for those who work in settings that require both First Aiders and Paediatric First Aiders, such as schools, sports clubs or other childcare settings.
Overview
Over 3 extended days, learners will develop the knowledge and practical competencies needed to provide effective first aid for adults, children and infants. Topics include: CPR and AED use, choking, stroke, head injuries, fractures, asthma and much more. Please note that learners will be required to repeat the full 3 day course in order to requalify.
Assessment Methods
- 2 x Multiple Choice Question Papers
- 8 x Practical Assessments.
Certification
Successful learners will receive two personalised Certificates.
