First Aid at Work Refresher
This is a refresher course for those who currently hold a FAW certificate, which is about to expire. It is a 2-day course which covers a refresher of the vital topics in the main 3-day course.
Intended Audience
This is a refresher for the HSE Level 3 Award in First Aid at Work, specifically designed for those who are appointed to act as a first aider in their workplace or community hub with an expiring certificate.
Overview
Over a 2-day period, learners will reacquaint themselves with the skills and knowledge needed to deal with a range of first aid situations, including: assessing an incident, managing an unresponsive casualty, CPR, heart attacks, choking, head and spinal injuries, fractures, anaphylaxis and more.

- Practical assessments
- 2 x Theory assessments (Multiple Choice Question Papers)
Certification
Successful learners will receive a renewed personalised Level 3 Award in First Aid at Work Certificate.
